Manual Dose Injector

Manual_dose_injector

The Manual Dose Injector is designed to reduce exposure when capping or uncapping syringes and injecting radionuclide. It is especially useful to protect fingers when administering high-energy nuclides. The injector is also useful when the injection protocol is a slow infusion as with Zevalin™. The Manual Dose Injector features a spring-loaded clamp to hold the syringe barrel firmly in place. There is a 1” thick lead base to protect hands.

 Specifications:

  • Dimensions: 29 (W) x 12.7 (D) x 27cm (H)

  • Base shielding: 2.5cm thick lead

  • Plunger shielding: 1.25cm thick tungsten

  • Finish: durable powder coat paint

  • Adjustable: 0° to 45° angle

  • Weight: 3.8 kg.
Combine the dose drawing syringe with the dose drawing arm and the Manual Dose Injector for the safest and best PET dispensing system available.
Tungsten PET Vial Shield and Dispensing System

Tungsten_vial_shield_and_Dispensing_System

The InMed Tungsten PET dispensing system consists of a rotating Tungsten vial shield that is fully removable from its cradle. The Tungsten shielding provides a higher degree of protection than conventional lead whilst also being lighter. In addition to the vial shield this system also comes with PET syringe shields for drawing up isotope and patient administration.
PET Dose Dispensing Swing Arm System

Ideal for dispensing unit doses and QC samples from bulk vials, the proprietary design of the PET Dose Dispensing Arm System supports vial shields and allows quick and effortless positioning of specially designed Capintec tungsten syringe shields. Employing a 511 “L” block body shield and 20.32cm x 20.32cm x 10.16cm high density 5.2g/cm Pb glass for accurate volumetric determination during dose drawing.
PET Dose Drawing System

PET_Dose_Drawing_System

The Dose Drawing System is used to safely draw FDG F-18 doses from a vial. It consists of a specially designed Dose Drawing Syringe Shield, Vial Shield and stand. When drawing FDG F-18, the Vial Shield and Syringe Shield remain on the stand. The stand allows the Vial Shield to rotate and has a fixed stop at the 45- degree downward angle. The Vial Shield is constructed of 2.54cm lead encased in steel. The shield’s top is threaded to allow quick insertion and removal of vials. The top cover incorporates a pivoting shield for septum access that allows the use of a vent needle, if desired, along with the needle from a 5 cc syringe.

Dose Drawing Arm

Dose_Drawing_Arm

A steel base plate (.635cm thick) provides a solid work surface and a secure platform for positioning an L-Block Shield and other shielding structures. The spring-loaded arm bolts securely to the base, and may be set up for left or right-sided use. The Counterbalanced Arm supports the combined weight of the vial pig, the arm’s shielding canister, and the tungsten drawing cover. The canister may be tilted without restriction (360°) for total freedom in positioning the vial. The counterbalance effect of the arm eliminates awkward lifting and positioning of heavily shielded vials. Fingertip pressure is all that is needed to lift, swing, or tilt the loaded canister and cover throughout all phases of the drawing procedure. Locking mechanisms are provided to hold the arm at any elevation, and to secure the shielded vial at any degree of tilt.
