PET Dose Transport
PET Vial Transport System

|
The Compact PET Shipping System for Vial Pigs is designed to transport a 10ml or 30ml vial containing high-energy radio-nuclides. Designed to conserve space and minimize weight, the entire system weighs only 22.7kg. An important feature is that the shipping container can be placed at a convenient height while the pig is easily removed from the shipping case. For added safety and convenience, the vial pig can then be placed in the 042 -466 Dose Drawing System for drawing doses from the vial.
The system meets DOT II Type A packaging requirements when shipping up to 2.5 Ci of FDG F-18.
Also available - PET syringe transport unit.

Reference Standards
Dose Calibrator Reference Standards

|
The Dose Calibrator Reference Source provides a safe and convenient method of calibrating instruments used to measure aqueous samples such as those routinely used by radio pharmacists.
The source is made with the activity uniformly distributed in 20ml of epoxy having a density of approximately 1.0 g/cc. Each standard is supplied in a 27ml polyethylene vial. Calibration is in terms of activity contained in an aqueous solution. This activity is traceable to NIST with a typical accuracy of ±5% at the 99% confidence level.

Spot Markers
| A 3.05mm diameter active area is marked with purple epoxy and centered in a 25.4mm x 6.35mm clear acrylic disk. Contained activity is supplied as a nominal value ±15%. NIST traceable calibration with accuracies of ±5% at the 99% confidence level is available. |

Pen-Point Markers
|
The Pen-point Marker contains Co-57 in a ceramic matrix at the end of a 12.7cm anodised aluminum rod. The pen-shaped rod screws into a brass cap which shields the active point. The Pen-point Marker is used in tracing the outlines of anatomical features on a patient. The trace appears almost instantly on the camera display.
