The 053-MM Multi-Modality Prostate Training Phantom is a disposable phantom developed for practicing procedures which involve scanning the prostate under ultrasound, CT or MRI.

The prostate along with structures simulating the rectal wall, seminal vesicles and urethra is contained within an 11.5cm x 7.0cm x 9.5cm clear acrylic container. A 3mm simulated perineal membrane enables various probes and surgical tools to be inserted into the prostate. This phantom is an ideal training device for any interventional prostate procedure guided by ultrasound, CT or MRI.

For interventional pain management.

The 034 Lumbar Training Phantom provides a realistic puncture practice phantom for use with fluoroscopic image guidance, practice procedures include; lumbar epidural, caudal epidural, facet and nerve blocks, sacroiliac joint injection and lumbar diskography. The 034 contains realistic anatomy to facilitate eye/hand coordination in a training environment and can also be imaged under CT, MR, and ultrasound.

For rapid assessment of image displacement in gamma knife and other treatment planning systems.

The CIRS skull phantom is made from materials which can be imaged using x-ray, CT and MR. The skull is manufactured from an epoxy based tissue substitute. The interstitial and surrounding soft tissues are made from a proprietary water based polymer. The gel can be formulated to accommodate specific requirements such as x-ray attenuation, contrast, and MR response. The entire phantom is encased in a vacuum formed plastic shell for ease of use and durability.

Multi-modality (CT, MRI, US).

The 057 is an anthropomorphic abdominal phantom made from proprietary materials which accurately mimic human tissues under MRI, ultrasound and CT. The phantom contains simulated lungs, liver, hepatic vessels, ribs, vertebra, kidneys, abdominal aorta, inferior vena cava, muscle, fat and interstitial tissues. Embedded within the liver are simulated lesions available in a range of sizes and relative contrasts.Each phantom is protected by a fat equivalent urethane membrane and ABS end caps making it durable enough for extended scanning sessions yet enabling insertion of various surgical instruments as needed.

The 048 male pelvic phantom was designed for realistic abdominal ultrasound scanning of the bladder and prostate. The phantom includes pelvic bones, 400cc anechoic bladder, prostate, urethra, seminal vesicles and rectum enclosed in a rugged ABS housing. The 048 is made from materials that can be imaged under ultrasound, MRI and CT making the phantom useful for applications that require multiple modalities such as radiation treatment planning. The phantom is provided with certified prostate and bladder volumes to enable assessment of volumetric measurement accuracy.
