Giotto Digital Mammography

|
Giotto Image combines the latest digital techniques with outstanding handling quality, providing exactly what you expect of a full field digital mammography system:
Giotto Image fits seamlessly into your working environment; it is easy to use and supports your workflow. The Giotto Image employs a SELENIUM2 second generation Selenium detector, delivering high speed image acquisition and short cycle times. Direct conversion combined with highly sophisticated post processing, ensuring outstanding image quality.Giotto Mammography utilises a ring-shaped gantry, combined with easily accessible control pads and buttons to control the unit in an ergonomic way. The advantage of this is 3D-positioning, allowing the patient to comfortably relax on the unit while bringing more tissue to the screen while the scan is in progress.
Giotto Image is not only FFDM but also a Full Field Digital Biopsy system for all positions: prone, upright and horizontal lateral.

Confirm-X
|
Confirm-X is a digital x-ray unit for radiographic examination of breast biopsy specimens. High quality images are released in real time: Confirm-X is optimised for the visualization of micro-calcifications.
Confirm-X improves your workflow: in a few seconds you will get the confirmation of a successful biopsy procedure without the need to move your patient.
CONFIRM-X is entirely x-ray shielded for full safety and it can be used anywhere without any further protection.Perfectly integrated into the GIOTTO IMAGE 3D environment, the Confirm-X uses GIOTTO AWS to acquire the specimen images and the Raffaello software for post-processing.

Giotto Analogue Mammography

|
Giotto analogue imagery is a sophisticated, film-based mammodiagnostic system which also features (like the digital system) a ring-shaped gantry allowing 3D-positioning, letting the patient relax comfortably on the unit, bringing up to two centimeters more tissue to the screen. The stereotactic biopsy option expands the functionality of the Giotto Image. Within seconds the Giotto Image transforms from a digital mammography into a stereotactic biopsy system. The unusual flexibility allows stereotactic interventions in a conventional upright or prone position.
Stereotactic Biopsy features:
-
360° needle access to the breast
-
The ability to choose the best possible approach to the breast using the dedicated gun-holders: frontal, frontal inclined and lateral ensures no area of the breast is inaccessible with the Biopsy Digit
-
The ability to choose the optimized angle for needle access to the breast at any stage without moving the patient. Lateral access is particularly useful in the case of small breasts and/or lesions placed in the inferior part of the breast, very close to the skin surface.
