InMed has developed the latest technology in the safe handling of ANSTO Generators. Using specially modified and designed crane systems we have found a space saving solution to overcome the OH&S risks associated with the lifting of ANSTO Generators.

The cranes come with a range of options including:

• Ceiling mounted with a manual winch
• Floor Mounted with a manual winch
• Ceiling mounted with an electric winch
• Floor Mounted with an electric winch.
 

The winch comes in two options:

• The manual winch (as pictured). This winch takes approximately 60 seconds to raise the generator to the required height. This system is the most cost effective solution; however it does incur a higher dose to the person operating the winch than if they lifted the generator by hand.
• The electric winch is a high speed winch that is capable of lifting the generator in 3 seconds to the required height. This winch operates from a standard 240 volt power point and is controlled by a remote hand control. This solution produces a lower dose than all alternative methods for lifting the generator.
